A completed agreement is most useful when your team can find it with the correct CRM record. The essential steps are to confirm completion, obtain the final signed PDF, identify the destination record, and verify the file after it is attached.

In Klarstig, open the signature request and confirm that all required signing steps are complete. Check that you are working with the intended document. A sent request or a partially signed document is not the same as the completed agreement.

Use Download signed PDF and open the downloaded file. Review the document title, signature details, and all included pages. Keep any appended completion certificate with the file. Avoid substituting the original unsigned document or an incomplete preview.

Find the exact destination in the CRM. Confirm the person or organization and the record identifier. Similar names are not enough. A volunteer agreement should be attached to the intended volunteer's record, not simply the first search result.

Use the CRM's supported file attachment option for a manual transfer. If your Klarstig connector offers a validated document-attachment action, it may support automation. Check that action's supported object, file format, and size limits. Record-write access alone does not establish attachment support.

After attaching the file, open it from the destination record. Confirm that it is the correct completed PDF and that the appropriate team members can access it. A successful signature status in Klarstig does not prove that the CRM received the document.

Use a clear document name and retain the signature request reference where your process allows. Follow your organization's document access and retention rules. A public file link may expose an agreement beyond the intended team, so use the approved sharing method.

Your next step is to check one completed practice agreement from the signature request through to the CRM record. Confirm the file and its access. The written Klarstig Academy guide includes these checks for both manual handling and supported automation.

Keep the completed document with the record

A completed agreement is most useful when your team can find it with the correct CRM record. The essential steps are to confirm completion, obtain the final signed PDF, identify the destination record, and verify the file after it is attached.

  • Use the final signed PDF
  • Identify the correct CRM record
  • Verify the result

Start with the completed request

In Klarstig, open the signature request and confirm that all required signing steps are complete. Check that you are working with the intended document. A sent request or a partially signed document is not the same as the completed agreement.

  • Open the signature request
  • Confirm completion
  • Review the intended document

Download and review the final PDF

Use Download signed PDF and open the downloaded file. Review the document title, signature details, and all included pages. Keep any appended completion certificate with the file. Avoid substituting the original unsigned document or an incomplete preview.

  • Use Download signed PDF
  • Open and inspect the downloaded file
  • Keep any included certificate pages

Identify the destination

Find the exact destination in the CRM. Confirm the person or organization and the record identifier. Similar names are not enough. A volunteer agreement should be attached to the intended volunteer's record, not simply the first search result.

  • Confirm the person or organization
  • Check the record ID
  • Avoid name-only matching

Use a supported attachment method

Use the CRM's supported file attachment option for a manual transfer. If your Klarstig connector offers a validated document-attachment action, it may support automation. Check that action's supported object, file format, and size limits. Record-write access alone does not establish attachment support.

  • Manual: the CRM’s file attachment option
  • Automated: a validated attachment action
  • Check object, format and size limits

Verify the actual attachment

After attaching the file, open it from the destination record. Confirm that it is the correct completed PDF and that the appropriate team members can access it. A successful signature status in Klarstig does not prove that the CRM received the document.

  • Correct record
  • Correct completed PDF
  • Appropriate access

Keep a useful reference

Use a clear document name and retain the signature request reference where your process allows. Follow your organization's document access and retention rules. A public file link may expose an agreement beyond the intended team, so use the approved sharing method.

  • Use a clear document name
  • Record the signature request reference
  • Avoid unnecessary public sharing

Your next step

Your next step is to check one completed practice agreement from the signature request through to the CRM record. Confirm the file and its access. The written Klarstig Academy guide includes these checks for both manual handling and supported automation.

  • Match the agreement to the record
  • Open the attachment
  • Confirm who can access it

Examples illustrate decisions and do not report a completed CRM transaction.
