DO ONE THING WELL
Edit and publish your form
Transcript (English)
A template gives you a starting point for a form or process. Your job is to adapt that starting point to your organization. In this lesson, we will use a volunteer application as the example and follow it from selection through a checked draft.
Open Templates and search for the process you need, such as a volunteer application. Use the available form-type or industry filters to narrow the results. Choose a template because its purpose fits your work.
A familiar title still needs a closer look. Open the template details and review the purpose, sample questions, and intended audience. Note any approval or integration requirements.
Decide which parts match your process and which need changing. A template description should guide your review without replacing it. Choose Use Template and complete any size or format choice the application presents.
Klarstig.ai opens the resulting form in the builder. Give the draft a clear name.
Review the actual fields in that copy before assuming every feature mentioned in the template description is configured. Replace sample wording with your organization's language. Remove questions you do not need and review required answers.
Check help text, contact details, and any consent wording your organization uses. Use fictional information while checking the draft so sample content cannot be mistaken for a real application. Review the workflow separately from the form.
Confirm the approver, the messages respondents will receive, and any supported destination settings. A template cannot supply your organization's authorization or guarantee that an external connection works. Complete those checks in the normal secure application flow.
Preview the form on a narrow screen and a wide screen. Try required and optional answers, including a missing required value. Submit one fictional example and inspect the resulting record.
If the process includes an approval or document, check those results as well. When the form and its intended follow-up behave correctly, publish through your workspace's normal process. Confirm the final public link or embed destination.
Keep an owner for later edits. The template has done its job when the resulting form fits the way your organization actually works.
