When a Form Will Not Submit
Most failed submissions come from a required field, the bot check, an archived form or a reached plan limit.

What this guide helps you do
Help respondents get their answers through.
Who this applies to
Form owners and the people filling in their forms.
Before you start
- Large file uploads on slow connections can take time; ask the respondent to wait for the upload to finish before submitting.
Steps
- Ask the respondent to look for a highlighted required field or an invalid email or number.
- Make sure the bot check completed; browser extensions that block scripts can stop it.
- Check the form has not been archived in its Settings tab.
- Check your plan’s monthly submission limit in Billing.
What you should see
The respondent sees the confirmation message and the response appears under Submissions.
Troubleshooting
Nothing above helps.
