Refunds and Disputes on Form Payments (Not Active Yet)

Not active yet — available at release. You issue refunds and answer disputes in your own Stripe Dashboard. Klarstig only shows their status next to the payment.

Not currently availableWhere to find it: Integrations → Payments → Recent form payments (not active yet)

What this guide helps you do

Understand who does what when a respondent asks for money back or disputes a charge.

Who this applies to

Workspaces that collect form payments through their own connected Stripe account. Not your Klarstig subscription — see the subscription refund guides for that.

Before you start

  • Klarstig never issues refunds, moves money or responds to disputes on your behalf. It records the status Stripe reports, nothing more.
  • Stripe’s fees, refund rules and dispute fees apply to your account as set by Stripe.
  • A refund does not delete the form submission. Edit or delete the submission separately if you need to.
  • This feature is not active yet; no form payments can be taken until release.

Steps

  1. To refund, open the payment in your Stripe Dashboard and issue a full or partial refund there.
  2. To answer a dispute (chargeback), respond with evidence in your Stripe Dashboard before Stripe’s deadline.
  3. In Klarstig, open Integrations → Payments to see each recent payment marked Refunded, Partially refunded or Disputed with its current outcome.

What you should see

After Stripe confirms a refund or a dispute update, the status in Klarstig updates automatically, usually within a few minutes.

Troubleshooting

I refunded in Stripe but Klarstig still shows Paid.

Status updates arrive from Stripe within minutes and are retried automatically if delivery fails. Refresh the page later; if it persists, contact support with the payment date and amount.

Where do I upload dispute evidence?

In your Stripe Dashboard. Klarstig does not collect dispute evidence.
