Statutory Withdrawal From a Contract (EU/EEA Consumers)

Where a statutory right applies, consumers can generally withdraw from a distance service contract within 14 days without giving a reason.

AvailableWhere to find it: Footer → Withdraw from contract (/withdraw)

What this guide helps you do

Give a valid withdrawal notice and receive an acknowledgment.

Who this applies to

Consumers in the EU/EEA where a statutory withdrawal right applies. Different or extended periods and exceptions may apply under local law.

Before you start

  • A discretionary refund review does not replace a valid withdrawal notice.
  • Simply starting to use an ongoing subscription does not automatically waive the right. Any lawful charge for service expressly requested during the withdrawal period must meet the applicable legal conditions.
  • Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Steps

  1. Open Withdraw from a contract.
  2. Fill in the details that identify you and the contract.
  3. Complete the bot check and submit the notice.
  4. Keep the acknowledgment shown on screen. An email copy is sent to the address you entered.

What you should see

Your withdrawal notice is recorded with a timestamp and acknowledged. Reimbursements required by law follow the applicable deadline, normally no later than 14 days after the withdrawal notice where required.
